Naomi...I must say...I am very happy that you started looking deeper into your pieces...you know, taking it beyond just making a pretty picture. When you put some meaning, especially something personal like this, behind your piece....it becomes so much more mysterious and interesting to observe. It's one thing for a viewer to look at an illustration and say, "Oh that's pretty cool"..and move on..and another thing to say "...hmmm...nice interesting, what was the artist thinking tho?"..a little mystery always adds energy and excitement to the piece..and I think this is your very first step in undersanding that concept. ON to the drawing: John and you both looked recognizable..which is cool...the picture has a very subtle feel and soft palette to it..so maybe punch up that ribbon just a "tad" bit. You say this is still in progress, however, I wouldn't do too much to it...I think it's actually fibne right where it is. Nice piece....and nice to see you're listenin to good music...Black Sabbath rules. Here are some more band suggestions: Jethro Tull, Fleetwood Mac, Janis Joplin, Joe Bonamassa, Pink floyd, Deep Purple.....check em out....lemme know what you think.

haha thanks ^_^ I was thinking that too. This is actually one of the first images where I had a strange fantastical idea and was able to actually flesh it out the way I want it. So far the way I want it at least!

Well, it was certainly worth the effort, it looks great!

Don't worry about flipping it... I could actually get the gist of what was going on... i could tell the guy was pulling the girl out of something strange, dark and dubious.
